Our Evolution: from Tradition to Innovation

Consideration for the Environment and a New Initiative
Reassessing our ceramic tile manufacturing practices since our establishment, we have chosen a new path with a focus on addressing the impact of global warming. In an effort to reduce annual CO2 emissions of 2,000 tons, we have embarked on the development of eco-friendly products.
The Birth of the Innovative Product "Terrawell"
Our development team has introduced groundbreaking tile called "Terrawell," designed to absorb CO2. This tile significantly reduces environmental impact while utilizing conventional manufacturing processes.
Making Transition
We have decided to cease the production of fired tiles and focus on Terrawell. With this new product, it is possible to reduce the environmental impact while maintaining quality and functionality expected of tiles.

Positive Impacts:

On the Environment: The production of Terrawell allows us to transform the conventional annual CO2 emissions of approximately 2,160 tons into a CO2 absorption of 500 tons.

On Regional Economy: Through the development of local industries and collaboration with other companies, we contribute to the regional economy and work together to address environmental issues.


Acquired certification from Science Based Targets initiative(SBTi).
Our aim is to achieve a 42% reduction in greenhouse gas emission by 2030 (with 2022 as the base year).
We commit to this goal with Terrawell.

Contribution to CO2 Reduction

Terrawell is a tile series designed to cure and solidify by absorbing CO2 in the air.
It uses only body-friendly natural materials and does not emit CO2 in its firing-free production process.
Furthermore, Terrawell continues to absorb CO2, making it as an increasingly prominent carbon-negative product. Additionally, it contributes to maintaining a clean environment in your room with its advanced features such as deodorization and humidity control.

CO2 Absorption Capacity
In the testing phase, we confirmed the absorption of 275g of CO2 by 0.21m2 of Terrawell. When converted to the absorption capacity equivalent to cedar trees, 10.7m2 of Terrawell equals the annual absorption of one cedar tree (according to the Forestry Agency criteria).
Level of CO2 Reduction Contribution
Ceramic tiles emit 18.5kg of CO2 per square meter produced (global production quantity: 16.1 billion m2, annual CO2 emissions during procution: 297.85 million tons *as of 2020). Terrawell, on the other hand, absorbs 1.3kg of CO2 per square meter used.
